The modern ball today has new aesthetics, quite a great amount of new features. It is communication and business contacts. It is a place where famous politicians and businessmen, diplomats, public figures, cultural elite, sport- and show-business stars can meet. It is a magnificent hall, traditionally rolled in luxury, splendid dresses, refined dinner, dancing and ocean of flowers.   The events are reconstructed at the most closely to the historical epoch, but the modern component also presents. At the appointed day and time guests arrive to the Catherine Palace in Tsar’s Village, they enjoy the music by the brass band and beautiful ladies in waiting and cavaliers meet the newcomers. Those guests who visit this place for the very first time can walk along the halls of the Palace with a guide and admire the interiors of the architectural monument.

The Festival has a well thought-out comic compèring with the elements of improvisation. The program of the interactive show includes Russian and classic ballroom dances. The professional dancing-master will show the dancing movements. Different contests, jokes and games, which were played at the Russian Imperial Court, are the important part of the program. But at the current Ball these games will also have some charity features. And, naturally, there will be a charity auction.
